Eligibility/Qualification

  • Education Level: Master Degree or equivalent in Engineering with a focus on applied mathematics.
  • Skills/Qualifications: Good English communication skills.
  • Specific Requirements:
    • Mobility rule: Candidates must not have resided or carried out their main activity in Spain for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately before the recruitment date.
    • No previous PhD awarded.
    • Willingness to travel and spend extended periods at partner institutions.

Job Description

The selected doctoral student will:

  • Develop static and dynamic models of H2-electrolyser-based systems.
  • Create system controllers to support network services.
  • Validate power system models including the developed control methods.
  • Collaborate closely with an industrial partner for real implementation.
  • Gain a double PhD degree from UPC and KTH after a four-year program.
