Eligibility/Qualification–
Applicants should have a Ph.D., a few years of post-doctoral experience from standard universities/research institutes, and a demonstrated excellence in research.
In addition, they should have obtained at least 90% marks in aggregate in ISC/CBS/Higher-secondary/class-12 examination and at least 70% marks in B. Sc. and M. Sc. examinations from standard colleges and universities of the country. Others need not apply.
Preference may be given to candidates with an experience in setting up and running experimental laboratory.
Job/Position Description- The Department of Physics, Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute (RKMVERI), Belur Math invites applications at the Assistant Professor level from deserving candidates working in the fields of condensed matter physics, statistical physics, nonlinear dynamics and cosmology.
Emoluments and benefits at RKMVERI are at levels offered in central institutes and are comparable to the best research institutes in the country.
Research group would like to attract the best applicants at the international level. Particular emphasis is given at the university to a synergy between teaching and research.
