Eligibility/Qualification
- Master’s degree in life sciences (equivalent to a Danish master’s degree: 120 ECTS/2 FTE MSc + 180 ECTS/3 FTE BSc).
- Excellent microbiology/molecular biology laboratory skills.
- Experience in bioinformatics and sequence analysis.
- Interest or experience in advanced microscopy.
- High level of motivation, responsibility, flexibility, and strong collaborative skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken.
Job Description
As a PhD student, you will:
- Conduct independent research under supervision.
- Complete PhD courses or equivalent training (approx. 30 ECTS points).
- Participate in collaborative environments, including a stay at one of the partnering institutions (Harvard Medical School or University of Greifswald).
- Teach and disseminate knowledge.
- Write a PhD thesis and publish peer-reviewed scientific papers.
