Eligibility/Qualification
- Required:
- Masterโs degree or equivalent in engineering, biotechnology, microbiology, environmental sciences, or related fields with above-average results.
- Practical lab experience in microbiology, chemistry, or environmental engineering.
- Proficiency in both written and oral English.
- Preferred:
- Experience with microbial electrochemical technologies, data analysis, programming/scripting (e.g., Python, R), and simulation (e.g., COMSOL).
Job Description
- Perform bioelectrochemical experiments to optimize cathode design and microbial cultures for acetate production from COโ and nutrients derived from aquaculture wastewater.
- Optimize cultivation conditions for selected microbial strains aimed at producing single-cell protein (SCP) from acetate.
- Conduct data acquisition, statistical analysis, and prepare scientific manuscripts for publication.
- Collaborate with the research group and engage in both independent and team-oriented tasks.
