Eligibility/Qualification–
The candidates must have a doctorate degree in the relevant subject preferably with published research work to their credit (ii) Only Ph.D. awarded unemployed candidates will be eligible for the award of Post-doctoral Fellowships (iii) The upper age limit for applicants is 35 years, relaxation in age for SC/ST/OBC/Women candidates applicable as per Government of India Norms.
*Preference will be given to candidates having experience in the relevant research area.
Job/Position Description-
Applications are invited from eligible candidates with consistently good academic record and interdisciplinary research potential, for Twelve (12) full-time PostDoctoral Fellowships (PDFs) to carryout research in the following thrust areas under the different research centers established under component 4.0 of RUSA 2.0 scheme of UGC :
Centre for Sustainable Habitat
Thrust Areas-
1 Transportation Planning
2 Sustainable Mobility (Public Transport/ BRTS)
3 Waste management
4 Water management
Centre for Basic and Translational Research in Health Sciences
Thrust Areas-
1 Role of Probiotics in Sports Sciences Development
2 Development of drug formulations, herbal formulations and their validation
3 Bioinformatics, structural biology and biomarker discovery
4 Genomics in health science
5 Psychology
Centre for Agriculture Research and Innovation
Thrust Areas-
1 Agri informatics
2 Organic farming
3 Non-conventional Plant Propagation
These are temporary research positions which may be offered to those who seek to choose research as a profession. The research work during the Post-Doctoral period is encouraged to be in interdisciplinary areas of mutual interest to both the Post-Doctoral Fellows and the Institute. The above positions are co-terminus with the RUSA 2.0 scheme. Last date for receiving the application is 13/01/2021.
Financial Assistance and Tenure:
The tenure of the award is till the tenure of the RUSA 2.0 scheme. The financial assistance available under the scheme is as follows:
Fellowship @ Rs. 43,800/- pm for I year @ Rs. 45,000/- pm for II year Contingency @ Rs. 1,00,000/- p.a.
