Research/Job Area- Experimental Quantum Physics
Location- Bhopal
Eligibility/Qualification–
Project Associate-I: M. Sc. in Physics, M.Tech/B.Tech in ECE/EE/CS/Physics or related disciplines with good academic record (first class/division or minimum CPI of 7.0/10.0).
Junior Research Fellow (JRF): M. Sc. in Physics, M.Tech/B.Tech in ECE/EE/CS/Physics or related disciplines with good academic record (first class/division or minimum CPI of 7.0/10.0). Candidate must have qualified a National Eligibility Test (UGC, CSIR, LS, GATE, etc.) with a valid rank/score at the time of applying for this post.
Senior Research Fellow: At leasttwo years or work experience as a JRF.
Research Associate-I: PhD in Experimental Quantum Physics with good academic record.
Candidates having experience with 2D Materials, Optics, Photonics, Nanofabrication, Quantum Information, Scanning Probe Microscopy, Magneto-optical Characterization Techniques, Cryogenics, Lock-in Techniques, Python Programming, Electron Spin Resonance and Atomic Magnetometry, designing, fabrication, testing of indigenous instruments in the field of lasers & optics, developing low noise analog & digital electronics, developing FPGA & Arduino based systems, mechanical & software development and high field magnet design will be preferred.

Project description:
The project involves development of tools and techniques that exploits atom-like defects in diamond as quantum sensors to achieve very high sensitivities and micron scale resolution.

Project Associate-I: Rs. 25k p.m.+HRA (18%), Junior Research Fellow: Rs. 37k p.m. + HRA (18%).
Senior Research Fellow: Rs. 42k p.m. + HRA (18%), Research Associate-I: Rs. 58k p.m. + HRA (18%).
