Eligibility/Qualification–
- Ph.D. in Chemistry or a closely related field (thesis submitted candidates may also apply)
- Minimum 3 years of research experience in relevant domains in reputed academic institutions, industry, or R&D organizations
- Strong publication record with first-author papers in reputed journals
- Proven experience in:
- Fabrication of conjugated organic molecular systems and polymers
- Time-resolved spectroscopy and/or microscopy
M.Sc. or equivalent degree with ≥60% marks or CGPA ≥ 7.0
Mathematics at 10+2 and/or undergraduate level
Age limit: Below 40 years at the time of application
Desirable Qualifications
- Background in Physical Chemistry / Organic Chemistry
- Experience with:
- Inert atmosphere handling
- Multi-step organic synthesis
- TCSPC, TRES, FLIM techniques
- Electrochemical characterization
- Cell culture and cellular imaging (preferred)
Job/Position Description-
Applications are invited from Indian nationals for one Postdoctoral Fellow position under a CEFIPRA-funded Indo–French collaborative research project at the Department of Chemistry, IISER Bhopal. The project focuses on the development of long-lived mechanoluminescent and upconversion hybrid materials for information encryption and photocatalysis.
The selected candidate will work closely with Prof. Abhijit Patra (IISER Bhopal) and international collaborators Dr. Rémi Métivier and Dr. Clémence Allain (PPSM, CNRS, ENS Paris-Saclay, France). The position includes a fully funded research visit to France (1 month per year) supported by CEFIPRA.
