Research/Job Area- Chemistry

Minimum Qualifications

Ph. D. in Chemistry, Post-doctoral Experience of 3-4 yrs in crystal engineering and pharmaceutical industry experience of 4-5 yrs with focus on polymorphs/salts screening and crystallization

To lead, design and execute material science studies mainly focused on solid-state properties, polymorphism and salt screening of new chemical entities (NCEs) using traditional and unconventional crystallization methodologies.
A strong understanding of fundamentals of solid-state chemistry and materials science, combined with characterization and selection of polymorphs and salts based on sound scientific and thermodynamic principles.
Analyze experimental data scientifically and provide the actionable insights into viable polymorph and salt selection based on stability stress study and crystallization behavior
Strong interpretation and characterization of solid material behavior using advanced solid-state characterization techniques including PXRD, DSC, TGA, Solid-state NMR, FT-IR, RAMAN, DVS and PLM/HSM.
Sound knowledge on conducting thorough patent and non-patent literature searches to assess the patentability of new chemical entities (NCEs), formulations, and processes, including prior-art reviews and technology landscaping.
Continuously monitor and adopt emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in material science and solid-state chemistry, applying these insights to advance innovation and excellence in
