Project Title- Development of biocomposite materials for the food sector – Industrial project-Smart Materials
Location-Â Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia, Italy
Eligibility/Qualification–
- The candidate must have a PhD Degree in one of the following areas: Material science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Physics, bioengineering or related.
- Experience with natural polymers and composites as well as engineering processes used in the plastics industry will be highly appreciated.
- An excellent track record of research publications and/or patents is also essential.
Job/Position Description-Â
One-year postdoctoral position in the design, engineering, development and characterisation of functional biocomposites.
The developed sustainable composites will be used for the production of sustainable and functional materials adapted to the food sector needs.
