Postdoc Positions at CM3: Computational Mechanics & Materials Manufacturing Lab. (CM³), South Korea invites applications for Postdoc Positions from eligible and interested candidates. The motivated candidates for postdoctoral fellows should be able to work in coming Sept. 2024. Selected fellows will engage in full-time research activities under the guidance of host researchers at KoreaTech in South Korea.

○ Designation/Position: Postdoc Positions at CM³

○ About–  Computational Mechanics & Materials Manufacturing Lab. (CM³) is established on March 1st 2022 by Prof. Hwang at KoreaTech in South Korea. The lab is aiming to perform fundamental and applied research on metals and their manufacturing process. The lab is looking for talented and motivated students and postdoctoral fellows.

○ Location: Koreatech, Cheonan, Chungnam, 31253 Rep. of Korea

○ Research/Job Area

        • Computer aided metal product and process design

• Computer aided manufacturing such as plastic deformation and machining

• Advanced materials and their manufacturing process

• Materials characterization

○ Eligibility/Qualification

• BS and MS in mechanical or material engineering are required in the area.

• Applicants are required to use FEM softwares such as Abaqus, Deform, and so on.

• Applicants should know the basic knowledge in metals, especially materials characterization.

• Good communication and writing skills in English.

• An ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.

• Those who have working experiences with Korean are preferred.

○ Financial support: Monthly salary (covering enough the living cost) including tax and four major public insurance except for personal travel expenses.
