Research Area

Antibody production and engineering aimed at therapeutic interventions for Parkinson’s Disease.

Eligibility/Qualification

  • PhD in antibody expression, production, and/or engineering.
  • Experience with protein aggregation is beneficial but not essential.
  • Interest in both fundamental and translational science, with a collaborative mindset.

Job Description

The selected candidate will engineer antibodies for optimal engagement with α-synuclein aggregates, collaborating closely with PI Dr. Simon Glerup and Assoc. Prof. Nathalie Van Den Berge. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting research in antibody engineering.
  • Collaborating with team members including a postdoctoral researcher and a PhD student specializing in microscopy.
  • Engaging in discussions and networking within a vibrant research environment focused on Parkinson’s Disease.
