Eligibility/Qualification–

Project Title: Smart Apparel for desert War Fare: integration of active and passive cooling through hybrid thermal management

Project Info: Design, development, and prototyping of a smart cooling vest to provide personal thermal comfort to soldiers exposed to extremely hot climate conditions.
Job Info: ? The PRE will manage the overall aspects of project deliverables like design, fabrications, testing and patents & publications. ? Development of cooling vest to maintain the body surface temperature within range of 29 ± 1 oC for minimum 6 ± 1 hrs by mean of active/passive cooling hybridization. ? Development of temperature and sensors-based cooling control system to activate Peltier cooling at individual PCM-Peltier cooling unit. ? Design and development of an easy-to-use stationary battery charging unit.
