About- The Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) has been established through an Act of the Legislative Assembly of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, namely the “Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University Act, 2019 (DELHI ACT 04 OF 2020)” to provide quality education in applied sciences and skill education. The University came into existence on 15 August 2020 vide Notification dated 14.08.2020.

Govt. of Delhi had enacted Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University Act 2020, Department of Law, Justice and Legislative Affairs vide its notification No. F.14(65)LA-2020/CONS2LAW/82-91 dated 26th May, 2020 has published this Act for general information (Delhi Act of 04 of 2020) conveying the assent of Hon’ble Lt. Governor of Delhi dated 26th February, 2020.An Act to provide quality education in applied sciences and skill education in various disciplines of education and to take advantage of demographic dividend; design and impart skills-oriented programmes to address the challenges of developing, trained and employable human resources for national growth.
The Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) is looking for experienced and dynamic Professionals to support the academics team for program designing and review.
| 8 | Experience | Essential Minimum 8 years’ total experience that will include – Minimum 3 years of Industry experience AND minimum 3 years of Academic experience Desirable Has experience in curriculum management related activities that are focused on delivering industry-specific, skill-based, activity based courses across Diploma, UG and PG programs Has innovated in course design and pedagogy to create high quality curriculum that meet industry needs and are aligned with regulatory requirements Experience in designing and running programs in collaboration with the industry Experience of designing assessment systems and processes that support skill based education. Has supported KM (knowledge management) initiatives to enrich effective delivery of the course uniformly across campuses/programs |
Job/Position Description-
| Period of contract | One Year (may be extended further based on discretion of the University |
| Remuneration (per month) | Rs 1,50,000 /- to Rs.1,80,000 /- |
Lead and manage processes for the following:
- Designing course curriculum aimed at delivering industry-specific, skills-based, activity based courses across Diploma, UG and PG programs, in collaboration with industry and academic experts (internal and external)
- Designing research and data collection processes to gather information related to industry requirements and futuristic job roles.
- Driving technology-based and content-based innovation such as designing new ways to assess different skills and learning outcomes.
- Playing the role of a thought leader and content leader to drive the university’s objective of skill-based education
- Plan and design program structures and courses based on identified industry needs.
- Drawing up course outlines aligned with program and course objectives
- Develop pedagogy focused on building skills through experiential, activity based course curriculum
- Design assessment systems and processes that support skill based on-going evaluation
- Researching on learning & teaching methodologies to set-up and support KM initiatives by providing teaching resources for high impact course delivery in classrooms across campuses
Assessing areas of training for the current faculty and developing training modules for faculty
