Department of Biotechnology, ICGEB, New Delhi, invites applications for Program Manager from eligible and interested candidates.
About- On behalf of the Government of India, the Department of Biotechnology is coordinating Mission Innovation activities in India. For this, an extramural program Mission Innovation India has been set up at ICGEB, New Delhi. Mission Innovation (MI) Programme was initiated by India and 24 countries on the sideline of the Paris Convention in November 2015 to accelerate clean energy innovation. The governments of these countries pledged to double their governmental and/or state-directed clean energy research and development investment over five years. Eligibility/Qualification–
Educational Qualification of Applicants: Ph.D. in Life Sciences with 3 years’ experience in R&D in an academic institution or industry
Desirable: Experience in business management, project management in reputed academic institutions or industries, coordination with research funding agencies, along with research publications in reputed journals.
Job/Position Description-
Applications are invited from eligible candidates to fill up the following positions in the DBT BioCARe Processing and Monitoring Unit (PMU) at International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB), New Delhi.
The project is funded by the Department of Biotechnology (Govt. of India).
Depending upon funding support from DBT (Govt of India), the appointment will be for a limited period.
Emoluments: Consolidated salary Rs 97,000/- p.m. as per DBT guidelines
