Eligibility/Qualification–
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- PhD in Life Science with experience in genomics.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- Candidates with atleast 2 years’ experience in Genomics is preferred.
AGE
Below 35 years as on Dec 31 st, 2025. Age relaxation will be given as per Govt. of India norms
Job/Position Description-
Applications are invited from suitable candidates (Indian Citizens) for one position of Project Scientist-I in the BIRAC project entitled “Expansion of INSACOG- Wastewater Surveillance of SARS CoV-2, Emerging Pathogens and Antimicrobial Resistance through Genomics- Based methods” of Dr. Radhakrishnan R Nair, Scientist F at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (BRIC-RGCB), Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
EMOLUMENT
₹ 67,000/- + 18% HRA per month.
DURATION
Initially for a period of one year or till termination of the project whichever is earlier and extendable based on the performance evaluation.
