IIBS Bangalore, India, invites applications for Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) from eligible and interested candidates
About- Interview for the position of Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) is open, funded by ICMR for a research project on bioengineered in vitro liver models. The role offers a consolidated remuneration of ₹56,000 plus 30% HRA, increasing by 5% in the third year. Candidates must have a PhD or a first-class postgraduate degree in relevant fields and 3-5 years of project/lab experience. Desirable skills include immunology, molecular techniques, and animal handling. The contract is for 12 months, extendable based on performance. Applications are due by April 7, 2026.

Eligibility/Qualification–
Essential Qualification:
- Preference to PhD,
First class post graduate degree, Bio-Technology/Life Sciences/Biochemistry/ Animal Sciences.
- More than 3-5 year experience in project work/lab work.
Desirable Qualification:
Good experience in immunology molecular immunology, Histopathology Basic Animal handling and experimentation, Mammalian cell cultures, Molecular virology, biology techniques.
Job/Position Description-
Interview for the post of Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) on contractual basis funded by ICMR for the Research proposal entitled “Centre for Advanced Research on Bioengineered Invitro Liver Models for Evaluation of Hepatotropic Infections and Therapeutics”. Under PI- Dr. Nirupma Trehanpati, Professor, Co-PI. Dr. Dinesh Mani Tripathi, Associate Professor, Department of Molecular and Cellular Medicines.
