About- Institute of Nano Science and Technology (INST), Mohali (Punjab) is an autonomous research institution under the aegis of Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, focusing on R&D of specific areas in Nano Science and Technology leading to new phenomena, processes, products and devices.
Research Area: Computational Chemistry/Biology/ (bio) Physics/BioSciences/Chemical Biology/Bioinformatics or related areas
Location: Mohali, Punjab
Eligibility/Qualification:
Essential: First Class Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG Degrees (Computational Chemistry/Biology/ (bio) Physics/BioSciences/Chemical Biology/Bioinformatics or related areas)
Desirable Experience: Research interest or experience in Computational Biology/Chemistry and Bioinformatics, Molecular Dynamics Simulations, programming knowledge in Python, and experience in handling big data and Data Analysis, Density Functional Theory (DFT)
Age limit: Must not be over 35 years as of 23.11.2025, which is relaxable for specific reserved categories as per the rules of the Government of India.

Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) under the ICMR-funded project at the Institute of Nano Science and Technology
Applications are invited from highly motivated and bright candidates for Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) engagement in the research project funded by ICMR, Government of India, at the Institute of Nano Science and Technology, Mohali.
Title of the Research Project: Netrin-1 Centric Precision Therapy for Cervical Cancer Treatment by Integrating Computer Modelling, Experimental Methods, and Nanoformulation with Proteinligand Interactions.
Nature of the Project: Computational Chemistry/Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Bioinformatics. This project will be conducted in close collaboration with the experimental work of Dr. Deepika Sharma (Principal Investigator).
