Eligibility/Qualification–

Essential Qualification

• Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
• First Class or equivalent grade in the preceding degree.
• Excellent academic record throughout the career.
• Good CPI/CGPA/Percentage in Ph.D. coursework wherever applicable.

Age Limit

• Preferably below 35 years for UR candidates.
• Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates as per Government of India rules.

Experience Requirement

Assistant Professor Grade-II

• Candidates with less than three years of post-Ph.D. teaching/research/industry experience may apply.

Assistant Professor Grade-I

• Candidates with minimum three years of post-Ph.D. teaching/research/industry experience are eligible.

Research Publication Requirements

Departments have specified minimum publication criteria in Q1/Q2 Web of Science indexed journals, generally ranging from:

• Grade-II: 1–6 publications
• Grade-I: 3–10 publications

Several departments also require publications as first or corresponding author and recent publications within the last two years.

Job/Position Description-
