Eligibility/Qualification–
Minimum eligibility qualifications for the post of Professor meant for the postcode (02 to 12):
- An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification(s) in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline and published work of high quality actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications in Refereed Journals.
- The Ph.D. A degree shall be a mandatory qualification for the appointment of a Professor.
- A minimum of ten years of teaching experience in University/College and/or experience
in research at the University/National level institutions/industries, including experience in guiding candidates for research at the doctoral level.
- Contribution to educational innovation, new curricula and course design, and the technology-mediated teaching-learning process.
- A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API).
OR
An outstanding professional with an established reputation in the relevant field who has contributed significantly to the knowledge in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines, to be substantiated by credentials.
Minimum eligibility qualifications for the post of Associate Professor meant for postcode (13 to 28):
- Good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines.
- The Ph.D. A degree shall be a mandatory qualification for all candidates to be appointed Associate professors through direct recruitment.
- A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is followed).
- A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic / research position equivalent to that of an Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution / Industry, excluding the period of Ph.D. research with evidence of published work and a minimum of 5 publications as books and/or research papers in refereed journals only / policy papers.
- Contribution to educational innovation, new curricula and course design, and technology – mediated teaching learning process with evidence of having guided doctoral candidates and research students.
- A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API).
The period of active service spent on pursuing a Research Degree, i.e., for acquiring a Ph.D. degree simultaneously without taking any kind of leave, will be counted as Teaching Experience for the post of Associate Professor and Professor.
Teaching Experience as Guest Faculty, Teaching Associate, Assistant Professor (Contract), etc. will be considered for the post of Assistant Professor only for awarding score(s) of Teaching Experience/Skills from the date on which the applicant becomes eligible for the post of Assistant Professor.

- For the interview for the post of Assistant Professor, the top 10 candidates will be shortlisted against one post and an additional 5 for every additional post based on the total merit points of Academic record and/or Domain Knowledge.
- If a Domain Knowledge test is conducted, the test will be of 100 marks to test the domain knowledge in the areas specified in the criteria already notified/advertised.
- The test will be of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) with a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
- The awards will be rationalized for 25 marks upto two decimal points.
- It will be mandatory to score a minimum of 40% marks on the test to consider candidature for an interview.
- The total score for assessment to issue call letters for interview will be according to Annexure-V criteria.
- The applicant found eligible for the post of Professor and Associate Professor by the Screening Committee and short-listed by the University will be called for an interview through email recruitment2022@cdlu.ac.in.

Applicants applying for multiple posts will have to select the appropriate option(s) available on the university website to specify the choice of post. Each post has a unique postcode.
- A copy of the printout of the Application Form submitted online must be submitted on or before 26.10.2022 to the Registrar, Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa, along with self-attested visible/readable photocopies of certificates/testimonials/reprints of research publications, title page(s) with ISBN/ISSN and content page(s) of each Book/Journal/Proceeding in which the publication(s) under reference is/are published must be numbered in sequence and be filled against their entries in the application form.
- The applicant must also send a copy of duly filled-in Academic Performance Indicator (API) Proforma, wherever applicable.
- Each applicant must provide one-page synopsis of his/her candidature along with the visible/readable printout of the online application form.
- SET/SLET score shall be considered if conducted by the Government of Haryana.
