Project Title – Design and Development of Quantum Computing Toolkit (Simulator, workbench) and capacity Building

Sponsor of the project: Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (Meity), Government of India

Location- Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.

Eligibility/Qualification–

MinimumQualifications:

  • Project Associate: B. Tech/M. Sc.
  • Research Associate: M. Tech/ph.D. in Science

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Past research experience in fields related to quantum information and quantum computing

Job/Position Description-

  • Project Associate: 2 available positions
  • Research Associate: 2 available positions

Emoluments:

  • Project Associate: Rs. 35,000/- + HRA per month
  • Research Associate: Rs. 60,000/_ + HRA per month

Duration: I year

Job description:

  • Design and development of course material on quantum computing using indigenous eC toolkit.
  • Design of quantum algorithms for the QC toolkit.
  • Analysis and mitigation of errors in quantum algorithms using quantum error correction techniques.
