Epigenome Editing Lab and PI: The Institute for Stem Cell Science and Regenerative Medicine (inStem), is a premier research center located in Bengaluru. Dr. Mahata’s research focuses on the development of next-generation technologies to interrogate and perturb mammalian epigenome, transcriptome, and epitranscriptome in a programmable and predictable manner using cutting-edge molecular biology and synthetic biology approaches.
iBRIC-inStem invites applications (online) from eligible candidates for the contractual position of the following Scientific position in the laboratory of Dr. Barun Mahata. We are looking for dedicated professionals who are result-oriented, can assimilate, analyze and communicate data effectively and are excellent team players capable of working in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.

Experience in molecular cloning, cell culture, stem cell biology, qPCR, Western blotting, ChIP, and CRISPR/Cas9 will be an asset. Experience in RNA engineering, protein design, orthogonal small Cas proteins, and bioinformatics would be an added advantage. We are seeking a detail-oriented, well- organized team player with excellent communication skills. |
Tenure: Contractual appointment for 11 Eleven months, renewable based on requirement and review of progress and requirement of the Grant.
