Eligibility/Qualification & Job/Position Description-

Applications are invited from eligible candidates through email for the following posts under the project entitled “GCRF-Action Against Stunting Hub”. The project is supported by London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, UK through a grant from UK Research and Innovation.

01.	Details	Requirements/ Information
a.	Name of the position:	Post Doctoral Research Associate, Biochemistry(Project)
b.	No of vacancies:	1 Position UR
c.	Essential Qualifications:	Ph.D. in Biochemistry. One year research experience after PhD
d.	Desirable:	Prior experience in handling and processing human clinical samples, ELISA, RIA, HPLC, Enzyme Kinetics, Microbiological assays, mass spectrometry analysis as evidenced by publications. Prior experience in assay development. Handson experience with associated equipment are must.
e.	Nature of duties:	-Is expected to co-ordinate the entire work flow of biological sample collection, analysis, QCs and data reporting. -Is expected to standardize the required assays for measuring the micronutrients and other analyses. -Is expected to set up internal and external quality control systems -Collection, processing and storage of samples with identification systems. -Supervising the analysis on a day to day basis. -Preparation of electronic reports in excel or other relevant software.
f.	Age limit:	Not exceedin 35 years.
g.	Consolidated Emoluments:	Rs.65,000/- per month (fixed without any other allowances).
h.	Tenure	1 year
i	Place of work:	NIN and travel to fields site located at a distance of 15-20 Km from NIN.

02.	Details	Requirements/ Information
a.	Name of the position:	Post Doctoral Research Associate, Education & Child Development (Project)
b.	No of vacancies:	1 Position UR
c.	Essential Qualifications:	Ph.D. in Nutrition. Should be fluent in english and local languages (Telugu, Hindi)
d.	Desirable:	Prior experience in community nutrition with qualitative social science techniques like focus group discussions, in depth interviews and observational studies for assessing food security, experience in report writing.
e.	Nature of duties:	-Is expected to co-ordinate the entire work flow related to a new qualitative research technique called “shared values” -Is expected to assist theme coordinators to standardize the methodology and customize the same to the local context. -participate in data collection and data analysis using the shared values framework. -Supervising the analysis of field report on a day to day basis.
f.	Age limit:	Not exceedin 35 years.
g.	Consolidated Emoluments:	Rs.65,000/- per month (fixed without any other allowances).
h.	Tenure	1 year
i	Place of work:	NIN and travel to fields site located at a distance of 15-20 Km from NIN.

03.	Details	Requirements/ Information
a.	Name of the position:	Field Operations Manager (Project)
b.	No of vacancies:	1 Position UR (Female)
c.	Essential Qualifications:	MBBS/MD/Masters/M.Phil/PhD. in the following disciplines: Life Sciences, Social Sciences, Developmental Studies, Public Health or Allied subjects/Epidemiology +Minimum two years experience pf carrying out community studies.
d.	Desirable:	-experience in monitoring, executing, co-ordinating, supporting and supervising community based research products. -knowledge of english and local language -planning and managing all the field logistics. -experience of monitoring tablet based data collection.
e.	Nature of duties:	-the project involves data and relevant biological samples collection at different time points in the community from Pregnant women starting from 2nd trimester, collection of information on breast feeding activities and follow up of child upto 2 years. -field supervisor would be in charge of implementation of the project activities under guidance of principle investigator and research officer of the project. -she would be responsible to support literature review in the line of objectives of the project, training of research assistant and field investigators, finalizing data collection tools, planning, training of research assistant and field investigators, finalizing data collection tools, planning, monitoring and supervision of data collection. -regular travel to project areas for monitoring, coordination and supportive supervision to improve project implementation and take corrective measure if required. -Assess and evaluate staffing, compliance and projected needs to maintain quality. -Passion for field research and demonstratble experience managing data collectors. -commitment to public health values -community centric attitude and skills, commitment to quality work by self, by team. -Team management, partner management and relationship building skills. -Facilitate in site mapping. -Ensure regular supply of all field consumables. -coordinate with other programme staffs in the field (ANM, Asha, Anganwadi and other staffs including staffs of other NGOs who are working with the same target population). -mainatain rapport and coordinate with local govt. health facilities.
f.	Age limit:	Below 45 years. (Similar to scientist-D)
g.	Consolidated Emoluments:	Rs.60,000/- per month (fixed without any other allowances).
h.	Tenure	1 year
i	Place of work:	NIN and travel to fields site located at a distance of 15-20 Km from NIN.
