Eligibility/Qualification–
| Essential Qualification/Experience as per the norms1 | Ph.D. (Bio-nanotechnology/Biomedical Engineering/Materials Sciences and Engineering/Chemical Engineering/ Nano-coating/ Pharmaceutical etc. allied subject areas from reputed institutes and with at least 1 research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal. |
| Desirable Qualification/Experience | Expertise in orthopedic implant coatings, nano-biotechnology, biopolymers, cell-culture, and microbiology will be preferred. Prior experience in the development of animal models for orthopedic implant associated infections is also preferred. |

The candidate will be required to set up experiments related to nanocoating, polymeric coatings, microbiology, cell culture and preclinical studies. Expertise in orthopedic implant coatings, nanobiotechnology, biopolymers, cell-culture, and microbiology will be preferred. Prior experience in the development of animal models for orthopedics implant associated infections is also preferred. He/she will also develop advanced laboratory skills (chemical synthesis, self assembled hydrogels, writing grant proposal, clinical translational, and working into collaborative environments). The candidate should be a highly motivated, continuous learner who is able to work independently.
