The period of experience in a discipline/area of work, wherever prescribed, shall be counted after the date of acquiring the minimum prescribed educational qualification prescribed for that position.

The upper age limit is relaxable upto 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC(NCL) as per Government orders in force only in those cases where the post is reserved for respective categories. 

Job/Position Description- 

CSIR-NIScPR invites online applications from enthusiastic, innovative and young Indian researchers having excellent academic record and proven scientific achievements for filling up the following scientific positions:

Only outstation candidates called and found eligible for interview will be paid to and fro single second class rail fare from the actual place of undertaking the journey or from the normal place of their residence whichever is nearer to Delhi/New Delhi Railway Station on production of Rail Tickets/Rail Ticket Numbers or any other proof of journey. 

  • Mode of Selection:

Mere fulfilment of prescribed essential educational qualifications and experience does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview. The duly constituted screening Committee will adopt its own criteria for short-listing the candidates. The candidate should, therefore, mention in the application all qualifications and experience in the relevant area over and above the minimum prescribed qualifications, supported with documents.

a. In the event of large number of applications, CSIR – NIScPR may adopt short listing criteria to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable number by any one or more of the following methods:

  • Based on higher educational qualifications than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement. 
  • Based on desirable experience/Qualifications in the relevant field or higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
  • Based on patent filed, publications in SCI/reputed journals, etc.
  • Based on quality, quantity and authorship (i.e. whether first author or co-author etc) of Scientific Journal Publications.
  • Any other methodology as deemed fit by the Screening Committee.

A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500/- (Rs. Five hundred) only

How to Apply- 

Eligible candidates are required to apply only ONLINE through given link https://recruitment.niscpr.res.in. No other mode of application will be considered. Instruction to fill up Online Application is also given in the above website.

Online Application will be available on the CSIR-NIScPR website https://niscpr.res.in. It opens on 10/04/2023 (10.00 AM onward) and closes on 10/05/2023 (till 5.00 PM). It is mandatory to take the printout of the successfully submitted online application form, sign the same and attach the self-attested mandatory documents. The printout of the application along with the relevant documents must reach CSIR-NIScPR on or before 17/05/2023 (for North-East, Andaman Nicobar Islands And Lakshadweep Islands candidates it is 24/05/2023)

Hard Copy Submission: The print-out of the successfully submitted online application form must be duly signed by the candidate and accompanied by one recent passport-size photograph, self-attested copies of the certificates, mark sheets, testimonials in support of age, educational qualifications, experience, re-prints of publications and caste certificate (if applicable) etc., together with RECEIPT of the application fees, (if applicable) should be sent in an envelope superscribed “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ____________ (Post Code ________)” ‘Advertisement No.__________’ by speed post/ registered post on or before the date mentioned above and should reach the address given below on or before the prescribed deadline, separately for each postcode, in case a candidate applies for multiple postcodes.
