Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur invites application for Senior Project Scientist position from eligible and interested candidates
About- Applications are invited for temporary or contractual post of Senior Project Scientist under the project entitled “:Centre of Excellence for Large Area of Flexible Electronics” at Samtel Centre for Display Technologies (SCDT), IIT Kanpur funded by DeitY (MCIT) New Delhi.
Research/Job Area- Physics/ Chemistry/ Nanoscience/ Nanoengineering
Location- IIT Kanpur, India
Eligibility/Qualification–
Minimum Qualification: PhD + Two years of exp.
Desirable Qualification: Ph.D.in Physics/ Chemistry/ Nanoscience/ Nanoengineering with at least 15 years’ experience.
Essential Experience:
- Thin film deposition, vacuum system operation, photolithography, microelectronic device fabrication and characterization, cleanroom management.
- Managing various utilities for clean room, including oversight of installation, maintenance, disposal of substances etc.
- Making and implementing lab safety policies and procedures. [Organisation of safety training for lab users, evaluation of safety policies, methods, and programs are highly desirable.]
Job/Position Description-
Salary: Rs. 32400-2700-81000/- per month based on qualification
Term of Appointment: One year or till the end of project, whichever is earlier.
Number of positions: One
