Job/Position Description-
Researchers from microalgae, microbiology, plant biology and biochemistry background are required for metabolic engineering of algal cells to enhance productivity.
The grants are supported by the Government of India funding agency and Private sector to contribute in the thrust area of algal bioenergy and bioremediation using innovative synthetic biological approaches.
Job nature: In-silico designing of vectors, DNA cloning, Genetic transformation of microorganisms, PCR, RT-PCR, ddPCR, GC-MS, Southern blot analysis, DNA sequencing, outdoor cultivation of algae in photobioreactors, and in-vitro maintenance of transgenic algal cultures, etc.
