Eligibility/Qualification–
Essential Qualifications
The candidates should be a post-graduate in science/engineering/social science with fluency in written and verbal English and Hindi. He/She should have a minimum experience of 5 years as a content researcher in science/engineering/education at school or college level. He/She should be proficient in searching and critiquing mathematics/science literature from various sources and developing them into modules. He/She should have experience in the research, design and presentation of digital STEM content and in-person workshops and should have worked with teachers/schools on the dissemination of this content. He/She should also have experience with making hands-on STEM models and should have created science videos. Candidates selected for the post would be responsible for leading the research and development of STEM content for school and under-graduate education and coordinating with all team members. The candidates who don’t meet the above qualifications need not apply.
Desirables
The candidate should be well versed with different STEM school curricula in India and outside. He/She should have a strong desire to pursue a career in school education, educational pedagogy and STEM education. Candidates with experience in teaching in schools or taking workshops with school students/teachers will be given priority. Strong communication skills, team work, proposal writing skills and experience with meeting government functionaries is also desirable.
