About- ICMR-National Institute of Malaria Research will conduct walk-in-Interview on the mentioned purely temporary project posts, tenable at ICMR-NIMR for the period against each. The term may be extended further as per requirement. Candidates possessing required qualifications, experience, and age criteria may attend Walk-in-Interview at ICMR-NIMR, Sector-8, Dwarka, New Delhi -110077 on the dates as indicated in the schedule along with the filled in the prescribed application form and supporting documents date of birth, qualifications, and experience.

Eligibility/Qualification–

Research Associate-I (01-OBC)

• Essential Qualification: Ph. D. degree in life sciences or equivalent degree or having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after MVSC/M/Pharm/ME/M. Tech with at least one research paper as the first author in the science citation indexed (SCI) journal.
• Desirable: Research experience in molecular and cell biology-related relevant fields. Experience in a related field (DNA, RNA isolation, Molecular Diagnostics, Realtime PCR, TaqMan probe-based diagnosis
• Age limit– up to 40 years Female 42 years

Project Scientist-B (Non Medical) –(01-OBC)

• Essential: Ist class Master’s degree in life Sciences from a recognized University with 2 years experience in related field .
  Or 2nd class Master’s Degree with Ph.D in relevant subject from a recognized University.
• Age limit– 35 years

Project Scientist –C (Non Medical) (01) (UR)

• Essential Qualification: 1st Class Master Degree in Life Sciences from a recognized university with 4 years experience
  Or
  2nd Class M. Sc +PhD degree in relevant subjects from a recognized university with 4 years experience in the relevant field.
• Desirable: Demonstrable research experience in a relevant field (DNA/RNA isolation, molecular diagnostics. Realtime PCR.TaqMan probe-based diagnosis).
• Age limit– 40 years

Research Associate I- 03 (UR)

• Essential Qualification. PhD/MD/MS/MDS Or equivalent degree OR 3 years research, teaching and Msc/Mpharma/ME/MTech.
• Desirable: Demonstrable research experience in a relevant field (DNA, RNA isolation, Molecular Diagnostics, Realtime PCR, TaqMan probe-based diagnosis).
• Age limit– 40 years

Senior Research Fellow07 ( UR-5, OBC-1, ST-1)

• Essential Qualifications: Post-Graduat Degree in basis Science OR Post Graduate Degree in professional course and two
  years’ research experience
• Desirable: Demonstrable research experience in a relevant field (DNA/RNA isolation, molecular diagnostics, Realtime PCR. TaqMan probe-based diagnosis.
• Age limit– 35 years

Project Scientist-B (Non-Medical) –(01-UR)

• Essential: 1st class Master Degree in Biotechnology.
• Desirable: Preference will be given to the candidates

1. having Ph.D. Degree in Molecular Neuroscience/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology, or
2. Minimum one year’s research experience in any of the reputed Scientific/Research Institute/Organization after Master’s Degree, and
3. High-quality publications in national and international journals

Age limit– 35 years

Scientist – ‘C’ (MedicalMicrobiology) -01 (UR)

• Essential: Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS/DNB) with Microbiology after MBBS with one year experience
• Desirable: Experience in Govt., autonomous, PSU etc. recognized organization.
• Age limit– 40 years

Research Associate I- 03 (UR)– Rs 47,000/- p.m. plus 24% HRA

Senior Research Fellow 07 ( UR-5, OBC-1, ST-1)-Rs 35,000/- p.m. plus HRA

Project Scientist-B (Non-Medical) –(01-UR)-Rs 56,000/- p.m. plus HRA

Scientist – ‘C’ (Medical Microbiology) -01 (UR)– Rs 56,000/- p.m. plus HRA
