Research/Job Area- Materials electrochemistry/electrocatalysis/batteries
Location- IIT Ropar
Eligibility/Qualification–
Essential qualifications: Ph.D. degree holders or having Thesis submission certificate are eligible to apply.
Upper age limit: 35 years (Relaxation as per GoI norms is applicable).
The candidate should have strong expertise and research experience in one of the following areas:
- Hands-on experience in handling high-power laser systems, Exposure to nonlinear optical techniques and processes, and high-power laser-based molecular spectroscopy OR
- Strong background on Polymer and Graphene-Based Nanocomposites / Laser-Induced Functional Material fabrication for electronic and sensors (Biosensors, Environmental) applications
OR
- Multiscale Physics at Interfaces using either Molecular Dynamics (MD) Simulations or COMSOL modeling
OR
- Physics of Droplet Dynamics at Various Surfaces and Liquid Flow
Job/Position Description-
Applications are invited from highly motivated and qualified candidates for a Postdoctoral Research Position under the mentorship of Dr. Kailash Chandra Jena, Department of Physics, Indian Institute of Technology Ropar.
The position is contractual and may be extended for up to 1 year, subject to the candidate’s satisfactory performance, with renewal every 6 months.
Emoluments: The selected candidate will receive a consolidated fellowship of Rs.60000/- per month.
