Eligibility/Qualification:
- A first degree in Chemistry or natural sciences
- PhD in Polymer Chemistry
- Knowledge and experience of a range of polymerisation techniques relevant to biobased monomers
- Experience in carrying out both independent and collaborative chemistry research
- Ability and experience in writing up research work for publication
- Personal commitment to Equality, Diversity & Inclusion
Job Description: The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Polymerizing biobased monomers and characterizing and evaluating resulting products
- Writing up research results for publication in scientific journals
- Assisting in the identification and development of potential areas of research
- Contributing to the development of proposals for independent or collaborative research projects
- Working closely within a team environment and independently using own initiative
