Post-doctoral Research Position in Robotics: A post-doctoral position is available at the LAMIH UMR CNRS 8201 for a candidate with a Ph.D. in robotics and/or biomechanics. The research focuses on developing an active anthropomorphic testing device for walking exoskeletons, as part of the RehabByExo project under the Institute Carnot ARTS.
Post-doctoral Research Position in Robotics and Biomechanics
Designation: Post-doctoral Researcher
Research Area: Robotics and Biomechanics
Location: LAMIH UMR CNRS 8201, affiliated with the Institute Carnot ARTS, Valenciennes, France
Eligibility/Qualification: Candidate must hold a Ph.D. in robotics or biomechanics, with a strong background in dynamic modeling of locomotion. Experience in humanoid robotics, robotic system control (exoskeleton or cobot), and test bench development is appreciated.
Job Description: The successful candidate will contribute to the development of a robotic testing platform for lower limb exoskeletons, aiming to conduct functional assessments, reliability evaluations, and physical interaction analyses. Responsibilities include developing biomechanical models, specifying the platform, participating in its design, defining instrumentation and real-time control systems, integrating software with biomechanical models and control systems, validating choices through simulations and experimental trials, and documenting developments through internal reports and scientific articles.
How to Apply: Interested candidates should submit their CV, a letter of motivation, and any recommendations to Philippe Pudlo (Philippe.Pudlo@uphf.fr) and Antoine Dequidt (Antoine.Dequidt@uphf.fr).
