FAPESP Postdoctoral Position: The São Carlos Institute of Physics (IFSC/USP), in collaboration with the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP), is offering a postdoctoral position focusing on in situ Cryo-Electron Tomography. This two-year scholarship aims to investigate the in situ structure of mitochondrial filamentous enzymes associated with the metabolic adaptation of tumors and their impact on organelle ultrastructure and morphology. The research builds upon Adamoski et al, NSMB 2024 (doi: 10.1038/s41594-023-01118-0), employing advanced methodologies like correlative light-electron microscopy (CLEM), cryo-electron tomography in lamella (cryo-ET), and expansion microscopy (ExM).
