Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. in Computational Biology, Genomics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Background knowledge in epigenetic mechanisms, gene regulation, and genomic technologies.
- Demonstrated track record of scientific productivity with publications in reputable journals.
- Experience in analyzing high-throughput sequencing data (Hi-C, ChIP-seq, RNA-seq, WGBS).
- Proficiency in Python and relevant data science packages.
- Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks, including transformer models and LLMs.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Interest in contributing to open-source projects.
Job Description:
- Conduct independent research in structural and functional genomics.
- Develop and apply computational approaches for large-scale omic dataset integration and analysis.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for data integration, visualization, and interpretation.
- Serve as an ambassador for the group in open-source communities.
- Publish research findings and present work at conferences.
- Assist in mentoring and supervising graduate students and junior lab members.
