University of Delhi, South Campus, New Delhi invites applications for Project Research Scientist Positionfrom eligible and interested candidates

About- Applications are invited for the following position in a DBT-funded research project entitled “Deciphering the Role of Translational Regulation in Embryo and Endosperm Differentiation During Early Seed Development in Rice”. The project will be funded until October 18, 2026 and the appointment will be of temporary nature.

Research/Job Area- Life Science/Plant Biotechnolog

Location- Department of Plant Molecular Biology, University of Delhi, South Campus, New Delhi

Eligibility/Qualification –

1. Doctoral Degree in Life Science/Plant Biotechnology; and
2. Three years’ experience in Research and Development in Academic Institutions with peer-reviewed publications in international journals.
3. Desirable:
4. Proven track record of planning and executing experiments to solve research problems independently. A flair for training younger, M.Sc., and Ph.D. students.
5. Experience in handling rice as a system, including tissue culture including agronomic and histological aspects.
6. Experience in the analysis of multi-omics data. And advanced user-level knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
7. Age Limit: 40 Years
