Eligibility/Qualification–
Essential Qualifications:
Junior Research Fellow: M. Sc. in Physics, M.Tech/B.Tech in ECE/EE/CS/Physics or related disciplines with good academic record (first class/division or minimum CPI of 7.0/10.0). Candidate must have qualified a National Eligibility Test (CSIR-UGC-NET JRF, JEST, GATE, etc.) with a valid rank/score at the time of applying for this post.
Research Associate-I: PhD in Experimental Quantum Physics/Chemistry with good academic record.
Additional Qualifications:
Candidates having experience with 2D Materials, Optics, Photonics, Nanofabrication, Quantum Information, Solid-state NMR, Scanning Probe Microscopy, Atomic Force Microscopy, Magneto- optical Characterization Techniques, Cryogenics, Lock-in Techniques, Python Programming, Electron Spin Resonance, Quantum Optimal Control and Atomic Magnetometry will be preferred. Candidates having expertise in designing, fabrication, testing of indigenous instruments in the field of lasers & optics, developing low noise analog & digital electronics, developing FPGA & Arduino based systems, mechanical & software development and magnet design will be preferred.

Applications are invited from Indian nationals for Research Associate – I and Junior Research Fellow in the Qmet Technology Foundation sponsored project “Field-deployable quantum-enhanced field sensing on integrated hybrid platform”.
Project description:
The project involves development of tools and techniques that exploit atom-like defects in diamond as quantum sensors to achieve very high sensitivities and high spatial resolution.
Duration: Twelve months.

Salary: Junior Research Fellow: Rs. 37k p.m. + HRA (18%) Research Associate-I: Rs. 58k p.m.+ HRA (18%),
