Centre of Excellence in Climate Change

The K. Banerjee Centre of Atmospheric and Ocean Studies (KBCAOS), University of Allahabad invites applications for the following posts of Research Staff under the DST, Govt. of India sponsored Centre of Excellence in Climate Change on the research project entitled, “Variability and Predictability of Indian Monsoon in a Changing Climate”.

1. Post Name: Research Associate II
Number of Posts: 01 (One)	Duration: 5 years
Fellowship per month: Rs. 61000 + 18% HRA
Essential Qualification: (a) Doctoral Degree (PhD) in Science with Post Graduate Degree in Atmospheric and Ocean Science/Meteorology/Earth System Science/Geophysics/Physics/ Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science OR Three Years’ relevant experience of research and development in an Academic Institution or Science and Technology organization After ME/MTech degree in Earth System Science/Meteorology/Atmosphere/Ocean/Marine/Mechanical/Civil/ Computer Engineering/Information Technology from Govt. recognized Universities/Institutes (b) One (01) research publication in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journals of repute
Desirable Qualification: Preference will be given to candidates having: Knowledge of Mathematical Modeling, Climate Models, Variability and Predictability of Indian Monsoon, Big Data Analysis and Display tools, Artificial Intelligence, HPC, LINUX, MATLAB, C++, Python PhD degree in relevant discipline and at least Three (03) research publications in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journals of repute Secured at least 60% marks at the Post Graduate degree (MSc/ME/MTech) level

Fellowship per month: Rs. 58000 + 18% HRA
