Eligibility / Qualification

  • PhD degree in any relevant field of life sciences.
  • Documented publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Research experience in transcriptional regulation, cancer biology, functional genomics, or epigenomics.
  • Understanding of molecular cloning methods and Illumina sequencing strategies.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently as well as a team player.
  • Experience in functional genomics methods, organoid cultures, and single-cell analysis methods is a plus.

Job Description

The postdoctoral researcher will engage in the following tasks:

  • Establishing and performing single-cell multiome (RNA+ATAC) assays from cultured cell lines, tissues, and organoid cultures.
  • Designing and executing genome-wide functional genomics experiments using techniques like ATAC-seq, CUT&RUN, and CRISPR-based approaches.
  • Conducting molecular cloning and utilizing lentiviral expression systems.
  • Developing and adapting advanced functional epigenomics assays based on Illumina sequencing.
  • Supervising and mentoring students and technicians in the laboratory.
  • Writing grant applications to support ongoing research.
