Eligibility / Qualification
- PhD degree in any relevant field of life sciences.
- Documented publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
- Research experience in transcriptional regulation, cancer biology, functional genomics, or epigenomics.
- Understanding of molecular cloning methods and Illumina sequencing strategies.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently as well as a team player.
- Experience in functional genomics methods, organoid cultures, and single-cell analysis methods is a plus.
Job Description
The postdoctoral researcher will engage in the following tasks:
- Establishing and performing single-cell multiome (RNA+ATAC) assays from cultured cell lines, tissues, and organoid cultures.
- Designing and executing genome-wide functional genomics experiments using techniques like ATAC-seq, CUT&RUN, and CRISPR-based approaches.
- Conducting molecular cloning and utilizing lentiviral expression systems.
- Developing and adapting advanced functional epigenomics assays based on Illumina sequencing.
- Supervising and mentoring students and technicians in the laboratory.
- Writing grant applications to support ongoing research.
