Job Description
The successful candidate will explore the biochemical, biophysical, and structural roles of copper storage proteins (Csp) in Neisseria gonorrhoeae and Salmonella. Key tasks include:
- Investigating copper-binding properties using advanced techniques like X-ray crystallography, nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry.
- Studying protein-protein interactions to uncover how stored copper is mobilized.
- Phenotypic and multi-‘omic analyses of bacterial strains to understand Csps’ roles in infection and immune response.
- Participating in international collaborations and presenting findings at global conferences.
The program offers rigorous training in cutting-edge research methodologies and access to a supportive, multidisciplinary team.

- Monthly Stipend (Net):
