Job Description:
Logistics companies face increasingly complex vehicle routing challenges due to e-commerce growth, just-in-time delivery demands, and regulatory constraints. The postdoctoral researcher will focus on:
- Modelling VRP and other complex combinatorial optimization problems.
- Developing and implementing efficient optimization algorithms.
- Creating a unified, configurable, and extendable VRP solver software framework.
Candidates will work collaboratively within a skilled team to enhance and deploy a range of VRP algorithms and contribute to future collaborations addressing emerging VRP variants.
