Postdoctoral Associate | Bioengineering: The Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine is seeking a talented Postdoctoral Associate with a strong background in bioengineering and a keen interest in biological research. This role will involve contributing to innovative research projects utilizing 3D bioprinting techniques to replicate human organs.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. in biomedical sciences, biomedical engineering, or a related field.
- Strong skillsets in cell and tissue engineering.
- Background in biomedical engineering, biomaterials, bioprinting, immunoengineering, and cell biology.
- Experience in microfabrication, 3D printing/bioprinting, and host-microbiome interactions preferred.
- At least one first-author publication in a peer-reviewed journal related to bioprinting.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, able to work independently and collaboratively.
Job Description:
- Lead and contribute to research projects focused on 3D bioprinting using patient-derived organoids and cell lines to replicate both healthy and diseased human organs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in bioengineering, biology, immunology, microbiology, and clinical research.
- Advance functional organ-level tissues through integration with organ-on-chip platforms.
- Utilize cutting-edge technologies such as bioprinting, microfabrication, organoid culture, microbiome sequencing, and single-cell transcriptomics.
