Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD degree in Chemistry
- Solid knowledge and demonstrated skills in synthetic organic chemistry; expertise in catalysis and peptide chemistry are strongly recommended
- Proven publication record in high-quality, peer-reviewed journals
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Experience supervising BSc/MSc/PhD students is advantageous
- Proactive and motivated approach to research opportunities
Job Description:
- Design, synthesize, and characterize bio-based peptide surfactants.
- Conduct ligand and catalyst screening for efficient C–N bond formation.
- Engage in AI- and robotics-driven workflows to optimize catalytic performance and surfactant properties.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including industrial partners and AI/robotics developers.
- Deliver new bio-based peptide surfactants and establish a sustainable synthesis platform.
