Eligibility/Qualification–

PhD in Veterinary, Clinical Biochemistry, Chemistry, Nanotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Material Sciences, etc. allied subject areas from reputed institutes with good scientific publication record. Candidates who have defended their thesis and can join us immediately are equally eligible for the position.  The percentage/grade points with respect to the academic qualifications will be a minimum of 60% or equivalent grade from Graduation onward and 55% or equivalent grade in class 10th and 12th.

Job/Position Description- 

Project Title: Development of Bioinspired Hydrogel Adhesives for Minimally Invasive Internal Wound Sealing

Job Description: The candidate will be required to set up the experiments for the synthesis and characterizations novel polymeric hydrogel platforms for drug delivery and clinical applications. Expertise in chemical synthesis, hydrogel development, self-assembly, cellculture, and microbiology will be preferred. Prior experience in the development of animal model for Gastrointestinal (GI) wounds, anastomosis, and Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) is also preferred. He/she will also have the opportunity to develop advanced laboratory skills (chemical synthesis, self-assembled hydrogels, writing grant proposal, and working inter IITs). The candidate should be a highly motivated, continuous learner who is able to work independently. 

Duration: Initial appointment is for 1 year, extendable up to 2 more year based on annual performance 

Remuneration: 72,000-85,000 INR per month (Consolidated)
