Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD in control theory, artificial intelligence, or a closely related discipline.
- Strong theoretical background in Lyapunov stability analysis and optimization-based control design.
- Recognized expertise in AI methods, including machine learning and data-driven modeling.
- Significant publication record in leading international journals and conferences.
Job Description:
The Post-Doctoral Researcher will:
- Develop methodologies to compute safety and stability certificates based on neural network parameterizations of Lyapunov functions.
- Investigate the expressivity of feedforward and implicit neural networks.
- Propose a curriculum learning strategy to transition between activation functions.
- Compute control laws using data-driven control Lyapunov functions.
- Organize team meetings, write progress reports, and present findings.
- If funding allows, co-supervise MSc students.
- Publish results in relevant journals and conferences.
