Eligibility / Qualification
- PhD degree from a government-recognized university or research institution.
- Candidates who have submitted their thesis and are awaiting the award of the PhD degree are also eligible.
- Candidates who have cleared the viva voce must provide an official confirmation from their institute.
- At least one research publication in a well-reputed international journal.
- Ability to conduct independent research under PI mentorship and work in a collaborative research environment.
Age Limit:
- Upper age limit: 35 years as on the last date of application.
- Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Challenged candidates and Women.
- Further relaxation may be granted to exceptional candidates at the discretion of the competent authority.
Internal ACTREC Candidates:
- Must not have completed more than six months after the award of their degree at the time of application.
Job Description
- Conduct independent and collaborative cancer research under the guidance of a Principal Investigator.
- Develop original research ideas and design experiments.
- Publish research findings in high-impact international journals.
- Apply for extramural research grants with mentorship from the PI.
- Fellowship performance will be regularly reviewed, and extension will be based on satisfactory progress.
