The School also started an MS in engineering program in 2015. Eligibility/Qualification-Required qualifications for the position include a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering or closely related field such as Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics etc. within the last six years. Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.

Experience in the areas of Biomaterials, Tissue Engineering, Drug Delivery, Electrochemistry, Surface Science and Material Characterization is preferred.

Job/Position Description-  Professor Waseem Haider is seeking a post doctoral research scientist in the area of Materials Science and Engineering. The initial appointment will be for 12 months, beginning on or around Sept 16, 2017. Responsibilities include performing experiments, organizing and analyzing data collected, working with students and principal investigators, writing research proposals/grants and peer-reviewed manuscripts, monitoring and management, and assisting in the coordination of research projects.
