Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD or foreign degree deemed equivalent to a Swedish PhD
  • Strong background in cancer biology, molecular biology, and microbiology
  • Experience in bioinformatics and basic data analysis
  • Strong publication record
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken)

Job Description:

The selected candidate will work on the tumorigenicity of certain metabolites in cancer using in vitro and in vivo models. Responsibilities include:

  • Executing cell biology and omics experiments
  • Designing and conducting biochemical and molecular biology experiments
  • Performing experiments in mouse models
  • Setting up novel experimental approaches within the research group
  • Validating metabolite binding through various binding assays

The applicant will collaborate with team members, supervise students, write papers and grant applications, and present research findings.
