Eligibility/Qualification

  • Required Degree: M.Sc. in materials science, chemistry, chemical engineering, or electrochemistry
  • Preferred Experience:
  • Synthesis and processing of inorganic or carbon-based electrode materials
  • Electrode formulation, coating, and coin-cell assembly
  • Electrochemical testing (galvanostatic cycling, rate capability, impedance spectroscopy)
  • Familiarity with characterization techniques (XRD, SEM/EDS, XPS, etc.)
  • Language Skills: Proficient in English; Danish skills desirable but not mandatory

Job Description

The candidate will:

  • Plan and execute experiments on calcium-ion battery materials
  • Conduct systematic electrochemical characterization (cycling stability, rate capability, coulombic efficiency)
  • Analyze structural and surface-sensitive characteristics
  • Collaborate with an international research team, contribute to teaching, and assist in supervision of student projects
