Eligibility/Qualification

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • Strong background in Power Electronics and Power Systems.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, Python, and other programming environments.
  • Experience with PSS®E, PSCAD, and hardware experimental testing is highly desirable.
  • Strong publication record in relevant research areas.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within multidisciplinary research teams.

Job Description

The selected postdoctoral researcher will:

  • Conduct advanced research on physics-based and data-driven dynamic modeling and control of grid-interactive power electronic inverters.
  • Collaborate with leading academic researchers and industry partners.
  • Develop innovative modeling, simulation, and control methodologies for inverter-based power systems.
  • Perform computational analysis and experimental validation.
  • Publish high-quality research in leading journals and conferences.
  • Contribute to ongoing and future research projects in power electronics and power systems.
  • Exceptional candidates may also be recommended for prestigious college- and university-level postdoctoral fellowships.
