Eligibility / Qualification
Mandatory Requirements:
- Ph.D. completed within the last 7 years in fields such as Immunology, Biotechnology, or Molecular Biology.
- Autonomous professional profile with fluency in English.
- Ability to integrate molecular/cellular biotechnology with advanced bioinformatics.
- Proven experience in the manipulation of viral vectors, cell culture, flow cytometry, and recombinant protein production.
- Technical mastery in mass spectrometry data analysis, large-scale data processing, and the application of machine learning for developing predictive methods.
Desirable Requirements:
- Scientific maturity to effectively troubleshoot and solve problems.
- Strong scientific communication skills in English and the capability to discuss complex results with domain experts.
Job Description
The postdoctoral fellow will be responsible for the following activities:
- Conducting advanced molecular biology routines, including DNA amplification, cloning, and sequencing.
- Producing, purifying, and titrating lentiviral particles.
- Performing lentiviral transduction to generate stable cell lines and evaluating expression using flow cytometry.
- Managing large-scale cell cultures and executing protein purification via chromatography.
- Preparing samples for immunopeptidomics via liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS).
- Analyzing large volumes of data and developing scripts and machine learning models for in silico screening.
- Integrating research activities and communicating findings with international partners in Scotland and Denmark.
