Eligibility / Qualification

  • Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Preferred Qualifications: 4+ years of experience as a Graduate Assistant in a research laboratory while obtaining a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:

  • 50% – Conducting experiments and analyzing results on waste polymer upcycling to liquid, gas, and solid products.
  • 30% – Synthesis and characterization of catalysts to use in polymer upcycling experiments.
  • 20% – Supervision of undergraduate student workers who will assist in the experimentation. Other duties as assigned.
