Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) is a multidisciplinary research institute in Jakkur, located north of Bangalore, India. It is relatively young yet well-known around the Globe.
Research/Job Area- Organic Chemistry
Location- Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR), Bengaluru, Karnataka
Eligibility/Qualification –
| Essential Oualification: Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry Desirable Qualification: Demonstrated expertise in managing NMR spectroscopy facilities, including instrument operation and maintenance, spectral analysis and interpretation, development of NMR experiments, effective coordination with researchers and equipment suppliers, and ensuring optimal instrument performance, reliability, and utilization through systematic maintenance and user support. Place of work: New Chemistry Unit, JNCASR Scope of work/ Job Description: The selected candidate will be expected to run NMR samples from external and internal users. Apart from this, they will be expected to develop, troubleshoot, and analyse spectra for both internal and external users. They will also be responsible for maintenance of the instrument and interfacing with the OEM as well as external users. |
The candidate should work collaboratively and collegially with the other NMR operator to ensure the smooth operation of the facility
Job/Position Description –
| Remuneration of 6.50 lakh per annum will be fixed. The remuneration shall be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience in operating the instrument. |
